Herbaceous annual, very ramified. Yellowish green leaves, with wide, flat segments. Racemes of 8-15 flowers. Entire or subentire sepals, approximately 1/3 of length of corolla. Pinkish corolla, dark purplish at the extremities. Fructiferous upright-spreading pedicels. Almost smooth, orbicular fruits, with 2 small apical depressions.
Rare plant which inhabits the slopes of some peaks on Porto Santo.
