Very ramose
shrub, reaching 80 cm in height, with persistent leaves and generally
prostrate. Woody stems; pubescent shoots. Linear, whorled leaves, 5-9 mm. Flowers
borne in lateral or terminal racemes. Pinkish, oblong corollas, 5 mm.
Rare species which inhabits rocks in mountainous central region of Madeira,
at altitudes of 1400-1800 m. |
