Herbaceous, pubescent annual. Ramose stems, 15-55 cm. Lanceolate, profoundly serrate, sessile leaves, 1.5-5 x 0.5-1.5 cm. Racemose, axillary or terminal, floppy, unilateral inflorescence. Pale yellow corolla 10-14 mm, externally pubescent, with cylindrical tube. Entire upper labellum and lower labellum with 3 emarginate lobes.
Rare plant which inhabits the Laurisilva and rocky areas in mountainous central region of Madeira, at altitudes of 800-1800 m.
