You leave the hotel in the direction of Lombo do Mouro where you begin the descent to Ribeira Brava. The route is downhill for about 16 kms, being fairly dangerous in parts so you will need a small packed lunch seeing as it will take at least 5 hours to get to Ribeira Brava. You will have a great panoramic view of all of the Ribeira Brava valley. On arriving at Ribeira Brava you can enjoy a sit in the sun at the outdoor café of the Água Mar Restaurant while you wait for the n.º 6 Bus at 6:45 p.m. to return to the hotel.
