This
parish is situated for the most part in a long, deep and narrow
valley enclosed by very high, steep mountains right in the centre of
the island. It is surrounded by the Pico da Cruz, Pico do Cedro,
Pico Grande and others, all of gigantic stature and imposing
grandeur. |
